holiday makeup look!!

There’s less than a week until Christmas!!! I’ve been loving green eyeshadow, so I wanted to do a look with it that is perfect for the holidays! I made it nice and simple so it’s not too much, but also easy to recreate.

Before doing any makeup, I washed and moisturized my skin. Starting off with foundation, I used the Maybelline FIT me Shine Balance Stick and an damp Ulta Beauty Sponge to blend in it.

Then I used the Maybelline FIT me Concealer and the same damp sponge to conceal any spots and under eyes. I’ve been using this concealer forever and it’s the best I’ve tried! It’s very creamy and high coverage without looking cakey.

I set my foundation and concealer with the NYX HD Studio Photogenic Finishing Powder and an ELF Powder Brush. I just dust a light layer of this all over my face, especially in my T-zone.

I love highlighting and my current favorite for it is the Benefit Watts Up Highlighting Stick. I love how soft it is on skin but also gives a great glow ;)

I’ve only recently started using blush, but I think it’s perfect for a holiday look! I use the Clinique Blush Powder in “Sunset Glow”. I do blush and highlight after setting powder cause I find it can make your glow matte…

Eyeshadow, the best part!! I’m using the Maybelline Blushed Nudes Pallete (it’s my fave and has some great greens!) with ELF Brushes.

1. Use a light shimmery green all over your lid with a fluffy brush.

2. Then blend a bit darker green/nude into your crease with a blending brush.

3. Then wet a brush and go back into the light shimmery green and pack that on the middle of your lid. Blend it just a bit together with your other colors.

4. Add a bit of the second (darker) green to your lower-lash line to balance colors.

5. Then I used the same Benefit highlighter to highlight my inner corner :)

I also use a dark, matte brown from the palette and a spoole to fill in and brush out my eyebrows. I’ve found that brow powders look most natural and I can’t find one in my shade so I’ve been using this…

I wanted to add some liner to make this look extra festive (optional), I used the NYX Felt Tip Eyeliner to make a simple wing.

Then I used the Mario Badescu Rose Water Spray to set my makeup. I recently got this from Urban Outfitters and it’s so nice! I do this before mascara so I don’t make my wet mascara go everywhere…

One of the most important parts; mascara! I love the Maybelline Colossal Volume Express mascara so much so I put that on my upper and lower lashes.

I finish off with a festive, red lip by using the Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer in “Fig”. I love how moisturizing but pretty these lip shimmers are and the shade goes perfectly with the green eyeshadow!!

I hope you enjoyed this look and try it out!
