How To Be Happy! Positivity Hacks/Tips!

Hi, it’s Carly, so todays post is called how to be happy, but I’m really just sharing some hacks and my tips on how to be  happier and have a more positive outlook! I hope that you enjoy this post and maybe helps you out! I have 10 ideas/tips so let’s just get started!

Make a List of Things That Make You Happy

One of my favorite things to do when I’m feeling negative or down is to make a list of things that make me happy or another good idea is a list of things you have that your grateful for so you can see all the happy things in your life!

Make a DIY Vision/Quote Board

I have a bulletin board by my desk that I like to pin quotes and things that make me happy on it and whenever I look at it, it makes me really happy and the quotes are really inspiring. To make your own, all you need is a bulletin board and some inspiring, positive pictures (printed) and just pin them on to the board!

Surround Yourself with Positive People

Surrounding yourself with negative people who make you feel bad about yourself is the worst thing you can do for you confidence and happiness! If you hang out with and have very positive friends that build you up they are more likely to make you feel happy and good about yourself!

Find Your Passion

Another way to help you find happiness is to find your passion or something that makes you happy, for example I obviously love blogging and Finding your passion and having something that you can do to boost your happiness when your feeling down.

Go Outdoors & Get Active

Another simple way to boost your happiness is to go outside and get active, I love going for a quick walk as a quick break from homework or passing a ball in the backyard and it makes me happy and feel refreshed!

Enjoy & Appreciate the Little Things

Instead of just appreciating the big things like a vacation, try to appreciate the smaller things like a trip to Starbucks.

Listen to Happy/Upbeat Music

 Another great way to boost your mood is to listen to “happy” music. I suggest making a playlist of  songs that make you happy and listen to it when your feeling down!

Do Something Nice for Somebody Else

When I do something nice or help someone else out, it makes me so happy. It often makes you happy to make someone else happy! A few easy ideas are to help them clean something up, make them food when they are busy etc.

Don’t Compare Yourself to Other People

It’s almost impossible to find happiness if your constantly comparing yourself to others! With social media, it’s hard to not think “oh I wish I had that” or “her life is so perfect”, but remember they are sharing HIGHLIGHTS of their life!

Write Down/Set Goals

It always makes me really happy to be organized and reaching my goals honestly makes me really proud of myself!
